None!<\/p>\n<p>This is the assertion of the members of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.exitinternational.net\/\">Exit International<\/a>, a voluntary euthanasia support group led by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.exitinternational.net\/director.htm\">Dr. Philip Nitschke<\/a>. This group of terminally ill people, aged 55 to 94 who are suffering from motor neurone disease (as affects <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hawking.org.uk\/home\/hindex.html\">Dr Stephen Hawking<\/a>) or emphysema, have chosen the drug <a href=\"http:\/\/www.medbroadcast.com\/drug_info_details.asp?brand_name_id=449\">Nembutal<\/a>, a powerful sedative, as their &#8216;peaceful pill.&#8217; More interestingly, this group have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.globalaging.org\/elderrights\/world\/2005\/pill.htm\">managed to synthesize Nembutal<\/a> in &#8216;backyard&#8217; laboratories, as well as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abc.net.au\/news\/newsitems\/200705\/s1916755.htm\">smuggle a bit<\/a> into Australia.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/machinegunkeyboard.com\/blogimages\/death_w_dignity.jpg\" title=\"image: Exit International, Dr Philip Nitschke\" alt=\"image: Exit International, Dr Philip Nitschke\" align=\"left\" border=\"0\" height=\"229\" hspace=\"10\" vspace=\"10\" width=\"190\" \/>Federal Attorney General Philip Ruddock is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abc.net.au\/4corners\/content\/2007\/s1916545.htm\">going after this group of uppity sick people<\/a> like they were <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scottparkin.org\/\">Scott Parkin<\/a>. In his usual endearing style, Cadaver Man has made moves to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bannedmagazine.com\/BooksBurned.03282007.0001.htm\">ban publications from Exit International<\/a> if not the group itself.<\/p>\n<p>Clearly, a 94 year old guy who knows how to kill himself is as great a threat to Australian national security as Al Qaeda.<\/p>\n<p>Get your hand off it, Ruddock. Governments in democratic societies are put there by the people to act in the interest of the people. Government is a convenience, someone to handle the things the people don&#8217;t have time for in our very real lives.
