APEC security and a cage tough enough to keep King George away from civilised folks: $138 million

Fake IDs and a few hire cars: Few hundred bucks

Fake diplomatic motorcade not being discovered- by two police checkpoints- until Chas Licciardello dressed as OBL hops out of a car 10M from King George’s hotel: Totally priceless.

Most Chaser stuff of late has been lame- but they really banged it this time. Well done.

A week ago, Julian Morrow told Noise Ltd:

More problems are anticipated if the stars of TV comedy The Chaser – who were denied media accreditation – manage to infiltrate security.

Chaser member Julian Morrow told The Sunday Telegraph he was expecting his team to be arrested.

“We want to get a working majority arrested and we want to get Chas (Licciardello) shot,” he said.

“At this stage I think we’re on target.

“We’re hoping at least three of the team will be arrested.”

Morrow said it was unhealthy for attending APEC politicians to be protected.

“We have every right to be there,” he said.

“I think in principle it’s a bad thing, I think the idea that politicians should be protected from scrutiny is a bad idea and that they should be protected from mockery is an even worse idea.”

‘Something extreme’ planned

While Morrow said he doubted they would be in proximity to APEC’s people of substance, he vowed that The Chaser had something extreme planned for the summit’s Sydney sojourn.

“Our plan is to play with APEC, as the event and as the phenomenon that gets dumped on Australia and Sydney, in a pretty extreme way.”

Mission accomplished. 😉
