KRudd has the next three years to just begin cleaning the HoWARd skidmark off Australia’s political knickers.

You go, Maxine!

Finally a long, long period of mean and tricky has come to an end.

Switch the light on the hill back on!

I hope so, Suki… but KRudd’s got 8 months of a hostile Senate before he can get down to the business of fixing 11 years of mean and tricky.

cileo, the collective sigh of relief would run the wind turbines to keep the light on the hill burning – for a spell, anyway.

As seen on a ped bridge at Faulconbridge, NSW.

Woo-fucking-hoo!

The ALP has yet to claim victory in Bennelong. HoWARd is hanging on by a thread, having only tacitly conceded the possible loss of his seat. It could be as late as 7 December before all postal votes received are tallied.

We have indeed seen the backs of the Lieberals in terms of control of gubmint, but we yet have not flushed the unflushable turd.

I keep returning to http://www.aec.gov.au/ to check the vote count.
today Maxine leads with 33,535 to his 33,201 and the ‘turnout’ for the electorate was 79% so a few in the post eh?
electus interruptus must feel weird waiting for rejoicing Chez Hogg.

Strange, Brownie- when I last looked (8.55pm), Maxine had 33,426 to HoWARd’s 33,098 in primary votes.

Could there have been some ballots disqualified?

Fix your interest rates, everyone. Rudd is going to turn this country back into an economic disaster.

Ah, an unemployed Lieberal Party staffer, I see. :D

Bought the ‘interest rate scare’ didja? Suckkkkkerrrrr.

Interest rates are set by the Federal Reserve bank- not the gov’t, you nong.
