weez, re the “campaign suspension”: in my circles, science geek academia, it is seen for what it was, a bizarre play for attention with no real action behind it. When McCain cancelled his appearance on Letterman to rush back to the capital because of the financial crisis, he made a wee little stop to do an interview with Katie Couric during the same time that he was supposed to be taping Letterman. Letterman has been nailing him for it relentlessly ever since.

And still, we are not the intended audience. It plays differently to the intended audience. I sure do wish that I had stock in Kool-Aid. I’d have a shot at being a rich woman.
