So far the media coverage is appalling “of course it must be happening” his Lordship said so. Just every now and then a touch of impartiality would be nice and questions posed to these ridiculous statements he continues to make.

This government has the morals of an alley cat (preemptive apologies to alley cats everywhere). But this latest stunt is the most cynical exercise ever. For this government the end justifies the means. And the end this government wants is a police state.

I’m watching Phillip Ruddock on Lateline right know. He is a perfect example of how dishonorable this government is.

The interview includes this gem: “Yes, it is specific intelligence, but in relation to a specific act…”. That is the specific intelligence received may have been that there is no threat at all.
